Friday MLB/CFB a 5-0 SWEEP!

Friday CFB 100-Dimer WINS in a ROUT!

Arizona @ Toledo 9/3/2010
Play On: Arizona -16.0 (100-Dime)

As Toledo continues its massive rebuilding project on defense, this is not the opponent it wants to see on the opening weekend. The Wildcats have a diverse attack, a returning quarterback, and enough size and speed to run circles around the Rockets. Nick Foles is back for his second year behind center, and a healthy Nic Grigsby will provide the yards on the ground. Toledo’s bread-and-butter passing game might sputter, with unproven Austin Dantin set to take over at quarterback. He’ll have the dual-concern of trying to avoid all-star CB Trevin Wade and hard-charging ends Ricky Elmore and Brooks Reed when he drops back to pass. Arizona possesses too much offensive firepower and muscle for a Rocket defense that doesn’t have enough stoppers after LB Archie Donald. Play on the Arizona Wildcats minus the points as a 100-Dime selection.
Final: Arizona 41 Toledo 2

Friday MLB 10,000-Dime High Rollers a 2-0 SWEEP!

Atlanta (Kawakami) @ Florida (Miller) 9/3/2010
Play On: Florida +107 (10,000-Dime)

Kenshin Kawakami will be filling in for the injured Derek Lowe, has not pitched in the majors since a relief appearance back on July 16, but was 1-9 in 15 starts. The Japanese right-hander lost to the Marlins earlier in the year and is just 1-4 lifetime against them with a 5.55 ERA in five games, four of which have been starts. The Marlins left-hander Andrew Miller has faced the Braves six times (three starts) and is 2-0 against them with a 3.32 ERA. Florida will need a strong showing this weekend if it wants to keep its fleeting postseason hopes alive. The Marlins enter the weekend set 10 games back of the Braves in the division and eight behind the wild card- leading Phillies. Play on the Florida Marlins as a 10,000-Dime High Roller.
Final: Florida 6 Atlanta 1

Cincinnati (Arroyo) @ St. Louis (J.Garcia) 9/3/2010
Play On: St. Louis -140 (10,000-Dime)

The Cardinals have won four straight and 10 of 15 versus the Reds this year and they posted a three-game sweep in the last meeting from August 8-11. The Cincinnati starter Bronson Arroyo is 1-2 with a 4.78 earned run average in four starts this year versus the Cardinals. That includes an outing at Busch Stadium on May 31 when he was drilled for seven runs over 4.1 innings. While Arroyo has had his troubles with the Cardinals this year, St. Louis rookie Jaime Garcia has won all three of his starts in 2010 against the Reds with a 4.08 ERA. Garcia hasn't allowed an earned run in 20 1/3 consecutive innings, fanning 19 in that span. Garcia is 12-6 with a 2.33 ERA this year and sports a 1.55 ERA in 12 starts at home. Play on the St. Louis Cardinals as a 10,000-Dime High Roller.
Final: St. Louis 3 Cincinnati 2

MLB 100-Dimers are 55-39 L94!

Friday MLB 100-Dimers go 2-0!

Cleveland (Carmona) @ Seattle (French) 9/3/2010
Play On: Seattle -110 (100-Dime)

The Seattle southpaw Luke French and is coming off a victory versus Minnesota last Sunday. French delivered seven innings of one-run ball in that outing. The left-hander defeated Cleveland on August 21, 2009 in his only appearance against the club, and held the Tribe to three runs in six innings. The Indians send struggling starter Fausto Carmona to the mound Friday. Carmona has dropped five straight starts and most recently toed the rubber in last Sunday's 6-2 loss versus Kansas City, as he allowed three runs and six hits in 6.2 innings. Play on the Seattle Mariners as a 100-Dime selection.
Final: Seattle 1 Cleveland 0

San Francisco (Zito) @ LA Dodgers (Billingsley) 9/3/2010
Play On: LA Dodgers -140 (100-Dime)

The struggling former Cy Young Award winner Barry Zito will try to snap a six-decision losing streak. The Giants might need to supply some more offense tonight given that Zito has posted an 11.48 earned run average over his last four appearances, a span that includes three starts. Zito has picked up a loss in all four outings, yielding 17 earned runs in 13.1 innings. The Dodgers starter Chad Billingsley has a 2.06 ERA over his last eight starts, is 1-0 in three games versus the Giants this year and hasn't allowed a run over his last two starts against them, spanning 15.2 innings. That includes a five-hit shutout for the 26-year-old at home on July 21. Play on the LA Dodgers as a 100-Dime selection.
Final: LA Dodgers 4 San Francisco 2
